This page explains what RealVoice collects through this website and the demo call, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
- Demo call requests. Your name, phone number, business name, business type, the demo mode you chose, the consent wording you agreed to and when you agreed. We store a one-way hash of your IP address to limit abuse. We do not store the address itself.
- Demo calls. The call is handled by an AI voice agent and may be recorded and transcribed so we can check quality and improve the agent.
- Customer accounts. If your business uses RealVoice, we store your sign-in email and the data your organization puts into the portal. Each organization's calls, recordings, transcripts and knowledge are kept separate from every other customer's.
- Website visits. Anonymous counts for everyone, and a little more only if you accept analytics. See Website analytics below.
Why we use it
To place the demo call you asked for, to stop the demo form being misused, to improve this website, and to run the service for our customers. We don't sell personal information, and we don't call or text you again unless you ask us to.
Website analytics
We measure how this website is used with our own tools. No outside analytics or advertising company (Google Analytics, ad networks, tracking pixels) gets any of it, and we don't sell it or share it.
For every visit. We count the pages you view and how long each one is on screen, what brought you here (a campaign link, or the website that linked to us: only that site's address, never the page you were on), your type of device, browser and operating system (without version numbers), and a few actions such as starting the demo form or tapping a call button. A visit is grouped by a random ID that lives only in your browser tab. To count unique visitors, our analytics server mixes your IP address and browser details with a random value for the day, using a secret key that only that server holds (it isn't in our database). Nothing stored in our database can turn the result back into your IP address. Each day's random value is deleted within an hour after midnight, Toronto time, and after that no one can, not even us. We never store the address itself.
If you accept analytics. We also keep a random ID in your browser's storage so we can recognize you when you come back. If you then send us the demo call, demo line or account request form, we connect your visits to what you sent, so we know which pages you looked at when we follow up. We only do this after you choose “Accept analytics”. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we treat it as “No thanks” unless you accept here.
How long and where. Website analytics are kept for 13 months, then deleted automatically. They're stored in RealVoice's own database, hosted in Canada. Our hosting providers also keep standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for a short time for security; we don't use those logs for analytics.
Changing your mind. Use the choices below at any time. “No thanks” turns analytics off for this browser and deletes the visit history tied to it. To have anything else deleted, email joseph@getrealvoice.ca.
Privacy choices. Checking this browser's choice…
Who processes it
We use service providers to run the platform: database and authentication hosting, voice AI, telephony, email and website hosting. They process data only to provide those services to us.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. You can also turn website analytics on or off with the privacy choices above. Canadian privacy law, including PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25, gives you these rights.
